ROV Buoyancy for 1000m Underwater
Density : | 0.42g/cm³ |
Size : | 800*1200*310mm |
Depth : | 1000m |
Application Areas : | Operation-level ROV |

The core advantages of customizable ROV buoyancy lies in their modular design and material compatibility. Currently, the mainstream ROV buoyancy use high-strength composite materials, which not only have the characteristics of low density and high buoyancy, but also can achieve properties such as corrosion resistance, pressure resistance (up to 6,000 meters), or high-temperature resistance (-40℃ to 120℃) by adjusting the formula.
Customized demands are usually reflected in the following aspects:
1. Shape and size: Depending on the ROV's operational tasks (such as pipeline inspection and seabed sampling), the ROV buoyancy can be designed as a streamlined, split, or irregular structure with a sensor compartment.
2. Buoyancy ratio: By calculating the self-weight of the equipment, the load and the water flow resistance, the buoyancy distribution is dynamically adjusted, and the buoyancy center can be regulated in real time.
3. Function Integration: Some ROV buoyancy reserves interfaces to be compatible with the installation of sonar, cameras or robotic arms, and even embed battery compartments to extend operation time.
