The cable float is made of solid buoyancy materials and coated with a polyurea protective layer on the surface. It can provide distributed buoyancy for flexible cables such as deep-sea cables, mooring cables, inductive coupling transmission cables, umbilical cables, and electro-optical composite cables.

The rugby design enables the cable float to be symmetrically fixed on the cable to provide balanced buoyancy. The clamps combined with the bolted fixation method are suitable for long-term deployment in Marine mooring systems, with a maximum operating depth of up to 11,000 meters.
